This item is compatible with the locomotives and cars from the Busch-model railway assortment.

The Busch Field Railway rails contain an integrated metal insert to increase the contact pressure of the wheels on the track. This ensures a secure contact and high pulling force for smooth riding. The track oval has a space requirement of approx. 265 x 375 mm. Two 1.5 V Mignon batteries LR6 / AA are required (not included) or a power supply with 3 V DC voltage. Since the locomotives have only a minimal current consumption, the batteries or rechargeable batteries last very long.

This field train is equipped with a special hook couplings and therefore also compatible with the locomotives and cars from the Busch Field Railway assortment.

The Busch Field Railway sets up the complete system with locomotives, wagons, tracks, bridges and buildings in the current H0 size. Due to the narrow gauge of 6.5 mm (original length 600 mm) the size is referred to as H0f (for field railways) and H0i (for industrial railways) in 1:87 scale. Thus, the railway is compatible with existing H0 systems and can supplement and upgrade them. Attractive starter sets and low space requirements also make the new entry easier.

The small locomotives make their orbits on the track in an unique slow-running manner thanks to an ingenious system of small magnets that are located on the locomotives and metal profiles placed in the railroad tracks below the sleepers. This increases the contact pressure of the wheels on the rails and ensures a reliable current draw and high pulling force of the locomotives.

The driving characteristics of the Busch Field Railway car are optimized by the specially developed stationary digital decoder. The sensitive speed control allows for creeping speed or top speed. Different driveways can be switched on and off independently of each other.

The current locomotive models are as follows: Gmeinder (Type: 15/18), LKM (Type: Ns 2f), Deutz (OMZ 122 F) and Decauville (Type 3, steam Locomotive). The extensive car park includes lorry wagons, strollers, brick-wagons and many other types. The rails and turnovers of the railroad track system are unique.
